Since 1995, Alcatraz has been serving up classic Mexican specialties in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The many years speak above all for the authenticity and quality of the food. The house specialty, by the way, is fajitas: grilled meat or vegetables served in a hot cast-iron skillet, stuffed into fluffy wheat tortillas with various dips as the mood takes you.
The menu is also supplemented by classics such as nachos, burritos or quesadillas** - the latter are available in many different variations such as with chicken, beef or even completely veggie. If you prefer something lighter and/or gluten-free, you can order one of the "Latin Bowls": Filled with all kinds of fresh vegetables as well as meat or vegetable proteins, the dish is nicely digestible and yet filling.
