L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele" is one of the most traditional and best-known pizzerias in Italy: Since 1870, the classic Italian cuisine has been baked there in the traditional Neapolitan style. The good news for all Berlin pizza fans: for some time now, the delicious pizza creations have also been available in a branch in Schöneberg. Only buffalo mozarella and Pecorino Romano with DOP label are used for the pizza: The Italian seal of approval stands for products with protected designation of origin and thus guarantees a high level of quality.
In other respects, too, the ingredients are more traditional and classic: you won't find any fancy pizza toppings here. Nevertheless, there is enough choice. Like the Pizza Vesuvio with yellow and red cherry tomatoes and Fior di Latte or the "Carciofina" with artichokes, arugula and Parmesan flakes. By the way, word seems to have spread about taste and quality, and in the evenings it can get quite crowded (and also noisy): With reservation nevertheless a great location for an evening with friends or family.
