Good news for foodies: All the tasty little things that make a trip to France so worthwhile are also available at this cozy café right on Paul-Lincke-Ufer. Classic French pastries like croissants and baguettes are on display here, as are sweet temptations like pistachio financiers, fluffy madeleines or nutty pecan tartelettes. Especially in summer, the cafe invites you not only for a snack to-go, but also for breakfast or brunch on the sunny terrace.
On that occasion, there's homemade granola with yogurt, French toast, sandwiches and Croque Maison, a variation on the classic Croque Monsieur, served as a brioche base with egg, Parmesan, thyme and bacon. And also among the baked goods, there are one or two specials on the weekend that are worth a visit, e.g. the in-house creation "Choc-Choc": a pain au chocolat consisting of two strands of flavor-intensive, dark chocolate - the temptation par excellence for all chocolate lovers. But beware: word of the quality and taste of the baked goods has spread, so there can be queues, especially at weekends.
