When it comes to good pizza in Berlin, hardly anyone can avoid the hype of the crispy, fluffy "pizza napoletana" at the moment. Around Rosenthaler Platz, too, there are several places to go for the classic from southern Italy, including Capvin and Lovebirds. The latter convinces with an interior in pastel colors and resembles more a cool snack bar than the classic pizzeria.
If you like, you can simply order a small piece on the hand, but if you're really hungry, you can also make yourself comfortable in the dine-in area in the back with a whole pizza. The menu? Offers a good mix of classics and interesting in-house creations. Our favorite: the Pizza Margherita as well as the Pizza Flora with fruity tomato sauce and burrata, topped crisp lettuce and edible flowers: An absolute highlight, both in terms of taste and appearance. There is also good news for all pizza fans with wheat intolerance: For an additional charge, the pizza creations are also optional gluten-free.
