In summer, the Prater Biergarten invites you to drinks and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere. You can enjoy simple snacks with your after-work beer: Pretzels, potato salad, soup or bratwurst. For the bigger appetite - or the cold winter months - a visit to the restaurant right next door is recommended. It's very spacious and cozy at the same time, with simple furnishings and indirect, warm lighting.
The table serves hearty, really good home cooking. Among them are mainly German classics like Königsberger Klopse or mustard party with potatoes. Here and there, however, you'll also find an Austrian twist in the menu, such as with the Wiener Schnitzel or delicious apple strudel. Also highly recommended: The cheese spaetzle with fried onions. What comes on the table, however, also depends on the season, the focus is here often and gladly on seasonal specialties. In spring, these are delicious asparagus dishes, in summer there's a great chanterelle menu, followed by hearty Christmas classics at winter time.
