Do you have a weakness for scones, cucumber sandwiches and fine Earl Grey tea? You can satisfy your culinary wanderlust at the Teahouse in the English Garden. Here, high tea is served until 6 p.m.: British pastries with clotted cream, a piece of cake, fine petit fours and a few sandwich with hearty toppings are served in the classic manner on an étagère.
This is accompanied by a pot of tea. You can choose the variety from a selection of exotic or classic teas with enticing names like Lemon Mint, French Rose or Darjeeling Castelton. Despite its name, the location in the English Garden is not just for tea lovers: on Sundays, for example, it's a wonderful place to have breakfast, and on summer evenings, the restaurant's terrace is transformed into a cozy Biergarten.
