Sitting relaxed with a piece of apple strudel and dreaming yourself back to times gone by? On an inconspicuous part of Kurfürstenstraße, you can feel the magic of the fin de siècle along with the Viennese coffeehouse culture. Originally a pub for high society at the beginning of the 20th century, the stately villa eventually fell into disrepair after the Second World War. It was the exiled Austrian Uschi Bachauer who lovingly set about renovating the place and gave it a new charm.
Since then, it has maintained a balance between tradition and modernity. So the menu offers classics from the Austrian cuisine but also holds all kinds of international dishes ready. And while in winter the rustic interior invites you to linger, in spring and summer the spacious outdoor area with its dreamy garden attracts guests.
