"Bonheur", the French word for happiness, comes to you here in small portions on plain white plates: crispy croissants, juicy pain au chocolat and incomparably tender brioche provide culinary moments of happiness at Anna Plagens' patisserie. Not only visually, but also in terms of taste, the baked goods are indistinguishable from the original of a Parisian patisserie: So finely balanced are the flavors, so sophisticated the different consistencies from tender-fluffy to crispy-crunchy.
The range includes everything from the great classics of French baking: Fresh baguette, pain au chocolat or buttery almond croissants. The whole is complemented by an additional selection of regional specialties such as Kouign Amann (puff pastry from Brittany). Also included: fruity tartelettes, chocolate eclairs and colorful macarons. However, there is one small difference to conventional French pastries: Bonheur bakes with spelt flour, which is not only more natural, but above all much more digestible: perfect for all those who do not tolerate classic wheat so well and still want to snack to their heart's content.
