Exceptional food in a very special atmosphere: as soon as you enter Eins44, you feel more like you're in a casual loft in Brooklyn than in the Weserkiez district of Neukölln. The elegant, casual interior in industrial chic is the main reason for this. However, the premises are not only made to look old: The hall dates back to the turn of the century, and many elements are also remnants of a distillery that was located there. But not only the interior, also the food is one thing above all: extraordinary and designed with great attention to detail.
Fine dining cuisine is celebrated here with creative ambition and a certain nonchalance. The menu? It changes constantly, because the food served is primarily seasonal and regional. In summer, for example, there is a choice of creamy burrata with fresh apricot as a starter. Or delicate ravioli with roasted fennel, beetroot and chanterelle cream sauce. For dessert, no less exciting combinations are tempting, such as the chocolate pralinés with dill and sea salt, crispy on the outside and melting softly on the inside.
