Healthy and delicious is the motto at Holy Flat: In addition to freshly prepared bowls, the two branches in Neukölln and Prenzlauer Berg also offer the eponymous flats: warm wraps made from whole spelt flour with hearty fillings. The Mr. White Wrap, for example, convinces with avocado and tomato, topped off with fresh mint, caramelized hazelnuts and truffle aioli.
Everything is 100% vegetarian, some also vegan.
For those who like something a little more classic (or are looking for vegan alternatives), the Run Veggie Run Wrap features grilled squash, peppers and zucchini toped with fruity cherry tomatoes, lettuce and creamy hummus. The Holy Flat is perfect for those who give up meat and fish: All dishes are purely vegetarian, some are also vegan and also free of classic wheat (all flats are made exclusively from organic spelt flour).
Especially recommended: The bowls in korean style or the mexican fiesta bowl.
Not only the flats, but also the bowls convince with fresh ingredients and creative combinations. On the menu, you'll find creations inspired by Latin American cuisine, such as the Mexican Bowl with spicy pinto beans and the Fiesta Bowl with fruity corn, pico de gallo and spicy chipotle aioli. Those who like it Asian and spicy will be happy with the Bibim Bowl: crispy tofu and brown rice meet aromatic mushrooms and crunchy vegetable sticks, rounded off by fiery Gochujang sauce and a poached egg on top.
