The name Sironi is certainly not new to anyone who visits Markthalle Neun from time to time. Since 2013, Alfredo Sironi has been selling the finest Italian baked goods such as ciabatta and focaccia there. In 2020, this was followed by the opening of the company's first restaurant, which is conveniently located right next door, in addition to another bakery store in Schöneberg.
The restaurant is Italian through and through, but you won't find pasta here. In the spacious corner restaurant on Goltzstraße, the focus is entirely on delicious pizza. The special feature: All pizzas are prepared on the basis of spelt - the perfect alternative for all those who do not tolerate wheat and are looking for a more digestible alternative. The pizzas are available as classic Margherita or Marinara, but also seasonal variations, i.e. in spring you'll find a saffron cream, homemade sausage and green asparagus pizza. Also highly recommended: the vegan version with all kinds of fresh and seasonal toppings that vary depending on the time of year.
